This is part of my #100Branches project, in which my goal is to visit all 100 branches of the Toronto Public Library (as well as any other library I can find). Read my About page or check My Library Project on my website.

Date visited: Aug. 16, 2025, mid-afternoon. I worked on my middle grade novel in this branch before going to visit friends in the area. It was super-hot that day, so the air-conditioning in this small branch was very welcome.

Above: My workspace, which was in one of three cubicles. Each cubicle had a table large enough for four people (or more, depending on how comfortable they are with each other) to be working at the same time, with power outlets at each cuble. Additionally there were several smaller tables closer to the entrance. I’ll try to take photos next time I visit the branch to add to this post. According to the branch webpage, there is seating for 29.

Children's section of a Toronto Public Library branch with rows of children's books, low bookshelves, a small round table with colorful chairs, and bright ceiling panels. Display shelves feature picture books and library signs.

Above: the children’s section. No one was using this area when I visited, so I was able to take a photo. As you can see, it looks clean, welcoming, and well-organized!
